The second floor slab pour is underway. The concrete pumper truck is working on the south end of the building. Column rebar is being placed on the north end. The stationary crane is at the central east end of the building site. Clay Street remains open to one lane of traffic.

Lots has happened the past couple of weeks at RiverClay. Scaffolding has filled the ground floor retail and parking areas as the second floor slab pour is almost ready. Meanwhile, the crane continues to be situated outside my future window.

No report this week. I had to deal with a flat tire in Longmont on Wednesday. Then it rained on Thursday.

No official construction update this week,... but being an Architect and having a vested interest, I did drive by the site on Tuesday and the ground floor slab was poured. Being unfamiliar with the construction documents for RiverClay, I noticed that the retail area at the corner is actually a couple of feet lower than the parking deck, which enters in from River Street. Also, Clay Street is still closed to through traffic.
